Asalto y robo a Obispo Argentino


Esta es la valiente familia venezolana que socorrió al Arzobispo Alfredo Montrezza, luego del accidente, todos festejan con alegría, haber salvado sus vidas. en la foto, Pedro, Lola, Jesús, Claudio , Otros familiares y Monseñor Alfredo Montrezza en el hogar de los Romero.

Choque grave y robo violento a Obispo Argentino.


El día 24 de Octubre , siendo las 19 horas, en la vía rápida de la carretera centro occidental, a tres kilómetros de la Raya, frontera interestatal, en el sentido de Puerto Cabello hacia San Felipe Apóstol, Estado de Yaracuy, en el sector denominado " El Guayabo ", Municipio de Veroes, tres asaltantes fuertemente armados, colocaron una piedra de mas de 150 Kilos en medio de la carretera, que por falta de iluminación, permitió que el automóvil Daihtsu, Terio, en que se traslada el Señor Arzobispo Metropolita, Don Alfredo Montrezza y otro acompañante, embistiera el obstáculo a mas de 160 K/H y se reventaran los 2 neumáticos del lado izquierdo al conductor, destrozando ambas llantas y colisionando contra la parte trasera de un camión, que marchaba adelante, en el mismo acto otros 2 vehículos también colisionaron con la enorme piedra, uno de ellos conducido por una joven universitaria consiguió seguir a pesar de los destrozos, y el otro automóvil, tuvo que aparcar a la banquina con una rueda inutilizada, allí viajaban la familia Romero, integrada por el Ingeniero Eléctrico Don Pedro Romero, su esposa Lola y un hijo menor de edad, en esas confusas circunstancias, salieron de la espesura y de la total obscuridad, tres hombres armados y con mucha violencia despojaron el primer vehículo y sus ocupantes, se robaron una computadora, 900 dólares, 5700 Bolívares, Pasaportes, Documentos y bolsos de viaje, es de lamentar las amenazas y violencia contra el Señor Arzobispo, y el robo de su anillo episcopal y una valija de ornamentos litúrgicos, así como elementos sacros destinados a la celebración de una misa en Ciudad Ojeda, lugar donde se dirigían. La familia Romero auxiliaron a los religiosos y esperaron todos juntos por largas horas de terror, en medio de la obscuridad , por la llegada de auxilio, finalmente después de mas de 3 horas de angustia llego la Policía y pudieron remolcar ambos automóviles, hasta San Felipe, donde la Familia Romero presto total ayuda y hospitalidad a los maltratados sacerdotes. Este testimonio tiene el interés de alertar sobre los peligros de ciertas carreteras de Venezuela, donde no existe seguridad de ningún tipo y los asaltos, secuestros y muertes son constantes, particularmente en ese estado de Yaracuy y también dar gracias a Dios por esa familia Romero, al Sr. Ingeniero Don Pedro, su Esposa Lola, sus Hijos y cuñado, así como al niño Jesús Romero, porque en Venezuela la solidaridad es un punto de honor para ese pueblo maravilloso y cálido.

El día 12 de Octubre, Monseñor Alfredo M. Montrezza, partió desde Buenos Aires, hacia Venezuela, país donde permaneció hasta el día 10 de Noviembre de este año 2008, en la Visita Apostólica fue recibido por el Sínodo de la Iglesia Católica de Venezuela, que se reunió en las Ciudades de Cabimas y Ojeda en el estado de Zulia. Los Señores Obispos Don Enrique Albornoz, Presidente de la Comisión Episcopal de Venezuela, junto a los Obispos Jon Jen Siu y Simón Alvarado, concelebraron la Santa Liturgia de San Juan Crisóstomo, en la Catedral de Ojeda, y en la Parroquia de San Patricio, entre los días 15 y 24 de Octubre. La Iglesia Católica Reformada de Venezuela mantiene un claro compromiso con la reforma política del Señor Presidente Hugo Chávez y solicito su incardinación al Sínodo de Obispos de la AOCC, de Nueva York, motivo por el cual el Arzobispo Metropolita Alfredo Montrezza, en su condición de Vicario Apostólico, otorgo el Munus y los Tomos requeridos, para establecer la legitimidad Canoníca de esa Santa Iglesia de Venezuela.

Reunión de los Obispos Catolicos Jon Jen Siu y Simón Alvarado y del Arzobispo Ortodoxo Alfredo Montrezza, con la Directora de la Comisión de Cultos de la Asamblea Legislativa de Venezuela, Dra. Tania D´Amelio, en la Ciudad de Caracas el Miercoles 5 de Noviembre del 2008.

Hoy lunes 3 de noviembre del 2008,desde el Municipio de Guarenas, Venezuela, escribo este breve reporte de nuestro viaje apostólico. Salimos de Buenos Aires el 12 de Octubre, y llegamos a Caracas, luego de 7 horas de vuelo, inmediatamente seguimos para Ciudad Bolívar, donde pasamos 7 días, y pudimos celebrar misa, en el Municipio de Anzoátegui, Basílica particular del Dr. Mariano La Rosa, gran benefactor de la Fe Católica y Ortodoxa en Venezuela; En la semana siguiente estuvimos en Ciudad Ojeda y Cabimas, dos importantes centros del Estado Zulia de Maracaibo.Allí celebramos la Santa Liturgia en la Catedral Católica Reformada, de Monseñor Enrique Albornoz, y seguimos a la Sede Apostólica de Monseñor Jon Jen Siu ,lugar donde tuvo lugar la firma de un acuerdo inter eclesial, entre El Sínodo de la AOCC y la ICRV.Posteriormente viajamos a Mérida, y nos detuvimos 5 días en la Ciudad de Bailadores y la Región Andina del Paramo.Finalmente regresamos a Caracas el día 2 de Noviembre y continuamos nuestro viaje hacia Maracay y La Guaira, el Lunes 10 de noviembre a las 13,45 ya estábamos volando hacia Buenos Aires, ciudad a la que felizmente regresamos, luego de 28 días de viajes y fatigas, para extender la fe Ortodoxa y Católica en Sud América
